Move Morpheus VME Manager to shared storage

The install has the setup of the VME manager on a single host. How do we migrate the VME Morpheus manager  to shared storage?

Hi,

If you have the Shared Storage already mapped then it is just these steps (there was another post that covered this).

Click on Cluster node where the Management appliance is running > Click on Discovered VM > Go to “Actions” > Click on “Reconfigure” to modify the “Datastore” to Shared volume

Then convert to a Managed VM to enable the HA so that the VM can failover between nodes.

Actions>Convert to Managed

Then fill in the correct details and Execute

• username and password

• Install Agent

• OS - ubuntu 24.04 64 bit

• plan -what ever was configured when deploying originally (2CPU, 12 GB RAM)

There is no job that shows that it completed (or that I found) but you will see there is an agent on it and then you can test moving it between hosts.

Thanks for the reply. I found the other post and was able to move the manager to shared storage.
