Re: Recommendation for migrating Hyper V virtual machines to HPE VME
If it were me, I'd probably look at StarWind's V2V convertor (it's free), and export the Hyper-V machine to qcow2 format, then import into VME. You didn't mention what your underlying infrastructure / storage is going to be for VME, but if it's NFS, then you could theoretically mount the NFS volume to the Hyper-V host and save yourself a transfer step and export (the qcow2) directly to NFS, and then define the VMs with virsh. Otherwise, you'll need to export to somehwere the Hyper-V host can read to (NTFS) and then use WinSCP or FileZilla to transfer the qcow2 to VME's datastore.

Re: Recommendation for migrating Hyper V virtual machines to HPE VME
Depending on your downtime requirements (less downtime the better), OpenText Migrate performs online migrations in realtime from Hyper-V to HPE Instances. Lift-n-shift. The process is fairly simple, just build a logically identical VM of the OS you are moving with the same logical volume (you can right-size as well) and the Full Server Migration workflow will assist you as you go. Downtime is measure in minutes.
