- Measuring storage speed on a Linux server
- When replicating data between storage volumes on a server, the average speed is confirmed to be approximately 400 MB per second (Copy to Copy within the same storage).
- I would like to know why the data replication speed between storage volumes is below 1GB (per second) on average.

Re: Issue with slow data copy speed between storage volumes
Data replication between array happens over dedicated replication ports/management ports, based on the configuration on array. However, the copy between storage volumes on network happens over data subnet in case of iSCSI or FC.
Can you please past the output of netconfig --info <name> or a screenshot from Administration>network?

SolutionThanks for sharing screenshots.
So, there you have the answer. The data transfer between servers happens at max speed as the data traverse FC. And the replication happens over management port which is of 1 Gbps.
