NMBLA-0002-1200 verity automatically failover

Hi Admin

How to shut down controller A of NMBLA-0002-1200 to verity automatically failover? In the GUI window, there is only Shut Down Array.

There is a paragraph in HPE's operating document::
While you can manually perform a failover, a failover can also be system driven. For example, in an iSCSI array, a failover can occur when the standby controller has better connectivity. In a Fiber Channel array, a failover will occur when the active controller loses all connectivity.
Note: A failover will not start automatically until connectivity to the array is lost for ~6 seconds.

I don't understand whether "connectivity"is only mean network (including ethernet or fiber)?
not ncludes power supplies and fans, right?
So I can just unplug controller A's fiber channel to verify automatic failover?

Yep, "connectivity" means Ethernet or Fibre Channel. Indeed, unplugging the cable(s) from all configured Fibre Channel ports on the active controller should trigger a controller failover.

Management ports apply as well - if you unplug an Ethernet port used for management on the active controller, I would expect that to trigger a controller failover.

I don't know the failover rules that apply to other components, such as fans / power supplies.
