The supported Alletra Witness Host OS goes EOL in 5 months, what is the replacment?
Just starting the process of installing a new Alletra 5010 group and need to configure a witness server.
The supported OS according to the documentation is CentOS 7 but this goes End of Life in 5 months so is a no go due to compliancy (supported OS's only). What is the official supported replacement by HPE?

Hello ,
We got the update from engineering that they are already looking into this and will provide it after completing the verification and qualification.
In the meantime, the only supported OS will be CentOS 7 till further notice. We do understand your concern and very soon there will be an update on this. Please connect to our support via phone numbers here https://www.hpe.com/us/en/services/nimble-storage.html#support or Email to support@nimblestorage.com

I raised a ticket with HPE Support and received the following back. I haven't heard anything since.

Robert here with the HPE Storage support team. I will be the owner of this ticket 06602768.
The next supported Linux distro release for our witness Quroum host will be Rocky Linux 9. Engineering is working to get this available prior to CentOS 7's (EOS).
Thank You

We are yet to hear from engineering team on Rocky linux 9.
As of now supported versions are RHEL 8.x or compatible (qualified on Alma Linux 8.10 and Rocky Linux 8.5)
