Query: VVOL HPE Storage Alletra 5010 for compatibility on Storage VM Policy

H All, 

We have 2 HPE Storage Allerta 5010 on our VMware Environment. I'd to use VVOL for datastore. I already integrate Vcenter to HPE Storage Alletra 5010. When i try to create VM Storage Policity for repilcation, i can't find VVOL HPE Storage Alletra on Compatibility Storage List.

Can anyone inform me why HPE Storage Alletra not in the list?

Can you please confirm if VASA was enabled while integrating vcenter plugin? If yes, were you able to create a VM on the VVOl datastore without any issues?

Also, please check if you can see the protocol endpoint in any of the ESXi hosts.

We will need to have port number 8443 to be opened to the vcenter appliance from  alletra's management IP address and both diagnostic IP addresses.

Confirm VASA was enabled while integrating vcenter plugin. i can create VM on VVOL Datastore with default VM Storage Policy. 

I can see Protocol End points On Any ESXi Host is ISCSI. 

Port 8443 is open from Alletra IP Management to vCenter include both diagnostic IP.
