Add ILO to OneView with different port
Hi,
I would like to know Is it possible to add ILO to the OneView service with a different port (other than 80 or 443)?
I had tried, but I got this error: ( try with API too)
is invalid. Enter a valid host name, IPv4/IPv6 address, or range of IPv4 addresses. Examples: servername, servername.domain.
Thanks

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
Hi again.
I didn't get your answer.
I mean I can't add my ILO IP (Gen10 or Gen9) in a different port (other than 80 or 443) to OneView.
My ILO version is 2.60 for gen10 and 2.79 for gen9
You can see the photo here:

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
Did you set up iLO to listen on a different port? I'm not sure that is possible?

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
When I try to add ILO IP that lesson to different ports (without specific port), I got this error on OneView
Unable to establish trusted communication with the server. There is no certificate present on the iLO at the port specified in OneView.
On HPE Amplifier I can add without any issue.

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
Sorry, I never even thought of trying that before. I even checked the OneView REST API and I do not see the option to add a different port. It does not look like this is a current option? You might have to put in an engineering change request?

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
We added support for the WebUI (HTTP and HTTPS) interface being a different port for rack servers only (not supported with BladeSystem or Synergy), back in the OneView 6.20 release (OneView 6.2 Release Notes (Key Features topic). You will find a new setting under Global Settings where you can change the default port from 443 to an alternate one.
This is global and not per iLO. All iLO's must be configured with the same port. Please know that this does not impact other ports you can change in the iLO.

Re: Query: Add ILO to OneView with different port
Thanks, ChrisLynch,
I wish we could have this feature per ILO not for a global setting.
I manage multiple BM servers for a CDN company where each pop site has its own policy for each ILO port.
Thanks anyway.
