Alert from Remote Support - Remote support is unable to connect to HPE.
Hello, since a few days I receive the following error message:
Warning
Remote support is unable to connect to HPE. (RSAL_005A) Remote Support
Resolution Check the network connectivity and/or proxy settings then try again.
·
I tried updating the appliance from 5.00 to 6.10 but the error still appears. Is it correct that oneview only communicates with remote support via https?

Re: Alert from Remote Support - Remote support is unable to connect to HPE.
Hi,
Yes OVRS use HTTPS connection to HPE via TCP port 443. the destination address is api.support.hpe.com
You can do a test connectivity from the Remote Support Settings option to check the connectivity.

Re: Alert from Remote Support - Remote support is unable to connect to HPE.
Hi,
unfortunately I can´t find this test. Where is it located? Under Settings -> Remote Support?
Under "General" i can only see, that it´s connected to HPE.

Re: Alert from Remote Support - Remote support is unable to connect to HPE.
Hi Sebastian,
Sorry my bad, i was referring to the IRS Console settings, apprantely there is no "Test Connectivity" option available in One View Remote Support settings. Good if you can log a case with HPE Remote Support Team using the SN of one of the servers being monitore for them to look into this. Hope the proxy is allowing the https connection to HPE. Send a test evet from one of the servers ILO --> Remote Support--> Service Event to confirm this.

Re: Alert from Remote Support - Remote support is unable to connect to HPE.
Hi Sanjay,
test event from servers ILO works without problem. I will open a case at HPE support.
