Hello,
No problem adding all HPE DL380 servers and Alletra storage arrays to HPE OneView.
I am currently unable to add two 3PAR arrays.
Under 'Storage system Type', I have selected StoreServ. Almost certain this is correct for 3PAR 8000 series.
Credentials are correct.
Error text is below.
Resolution Verify that the IP address or host name is correct and verify the connectivity between HPE OneView and the storage system. Then retry adding the storage system.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: Can't Add 3PAR to OneView
Started wsapi service. Still no good.
I've successfully pinged the 3PAR from HPE OneView, using the HPE OneView ping utility, but can't test ping from the 3PAR to HPE OneView as the 3PAR does not support a ping command.
Error suggests it is network connectivity but assured by our network admin there is two way connectivity.
Is there a way to test connectivity from the 3PAR to HPE OneView?

Re: Can't Add 3PAR to OneView
Found the answer in another post.
The message was misleading.
The 3PAR 'wsapi' service needed to be started.
'showwsapi' to see the status of the service. It was inactive.
'startwsapi' started the service and enabled the 3PARs to be added to HPE OneView.
