Cannot Add Proliant Server to OneView

OneView - 6.40

ILO - 2.55 running Advanced ILO evaluation license

Proliant DL360 Gen10

OneView HPE Advanced Licenses

I'm trying to add a Proliant DL360 Gen10 server to my existing OneView monitoring but there is no "Add Server Hardware" button.  I must be missing something very fundamental but I can't see where I'm going wrong.

I can connect to the ILO just fine and it reports that it's healthy.

I have added the cert from the ILO to OneView.

When I go to Servers => Server Hardware there is no "Add Server Hardware" button.

Where have I gone wrong?

Re: Query: Cannot Add Proliant Server to OneView

Thank you for your response.  I don't think that it pertains to me though.

1.  When I open OneView and go to Servers => Server Hardware there is no button that says "+ Add Server Hardware"   I have rebooted the appliance and the button didn't show.  I have logged on as an Admin which has the correct privileges.  The Action button does not have an "Add" option.

2. I don't have the FC adapter that the article is referring to so I'm pretty sure that isn't my issue.

Re: Query: Cannot Add Proliant Server to OneView

Mystery solved!

We have OneView for Synergy and OneView for managing rack servers.  I was in the wrong appliance.

Glad you figured it out.  I would have replied with it's either due to lack of privileges or you were trying to add the server to a Synergy Composer (which is not possible to do.)
