Error during upload the firmware bundle
Tried uploading 2025.05.01 and it's stuck with an error "Error during upload of the firmware bundle". There is more than enough free space for the SPP on the appliance at the time.
When we added SY2024.11.02, it was uploaded successfully.
Actions performed:
Removed 2025.05.01, then tried adding it again ==> Same issue
Removed 2025.05.01, then restarted OV, then tried adding it again ==> Same issue

Re: Error during upload the firmware bundle
Hi @Chayma_24 ,
Hope this helps!
Please try these below steps:
- The error indicates that there might be ongoing operation that prevents firmware upload. Please check if there are any ongoing firmware or software updates in progress. If there is any ongoing operation, please wait for that operation to complete and then try again.
- Ensure that version of oneView you're using supports the firmware bundle you're attempting to upload.
- Your downloaded SSP might be corrupted, so try re-downloading the SSP from HPE Support Centre.
This post might help you.
If the issue still persists, please log a support case with HPE here for further investigation.
Thank you!
Hope this information has helped you, Please click on the "Thumbs Up/Kudo" icon as a token of appreciation. Also, if this post has helped to solve your issue, consider marking this as an "Accepted Solution".
