I have created SPP - full HPE Synergy Service Pack version SY-2022.0 - after that I have upgraded all component from Logical Encloser.
Every components update sucessfully without one server which I have problem.
Problem is with HPE Smart Array E208i-c SR Gen10 (SHFW_025).
I realiazed recommendation without success:
"Resolution Power cycle the server and wait for the power on self test (POST) to complete. If the problem persists, re-apply the server profile to update the firmware again."
On Firmware Inventory I have baseline for this controller 5.00 and after upgrade I have still 4.11:
The same information I have in "Firmware Compliance":

I think is this is resolution of my problem:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00127338en_us&docLocale=en_US
But when I'll use workaround I must change config of D3940 and this will destroy my created storage on this server

Do you have a support case here? I know there are issues with customers attempting to update from 5.00 to 6.x and it fails because of a missing bunny-hop requirement to get to a newer 5.x SR controller firmware that adds Redfish PLDM firmware update capability that 6.x and newer require.

Hello,
I don't have Support Case. I was trying using solution from:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=a00127338en_us#resolution
but I have the same problem like eariler "Reapply" finish succesfuly but "The following firmware components are inconsistent with the specified firmware baseline: HPE Smart Array E208i-c SR Gen10" without succes with inconsistent for baseline
If I can upgarde them manually boot special iso with this apropriate firmware for HPE Smart Array E208i-c SR Gen10?

SolutionHello,
I resolved problem with HPE Smart Array E208i-c SR Gen10 myself.
I booted problematic server from SPP which I used to upgrade Synergy and manually update HPE Smart Array E208i-c SR Gen10 to 5.00.

The other time we have seen this happen is when a user attempts to install a component via the SPP with an unsupported operating system. We have seen where older SA firmware releases dropped support for say older Windows versions, and during installation, will fail because of the unsupported OS. We will be making adjustments to future SPP's and SSP's and the components to ensure that unsupported components are not installable. Not 100% sure this is the condition you were facing, but glad you have it ultimately resolved.
