Flex10 and Logical Interconnect Group

Are the HP VC Flex-10/10D Module and HP VC Flex-10 Enet Module (the older version) compapitble for the same logical interconnect group?

Say one enclousre has 2 HP VC Flex-10/10D Modules and the other 2 HP VC Flex-10 Enet Modules.

Re: Flex10 and Logical Interconnect Group

Are you asking if a single Logical Interconnect Group (LIG) can support to different module types in the same bay location, but in different enclosures?  The answer would be no.  The whole point of a LIG is that you model the interconnect type, and that defines not only what fabric features would be supported, but defines the uplink connectivity for Server Profiles.  Attempting to add another enclousre that does not contain the same interconnect bay mapping/modeling, the Logical Interconnect would be in an error state with the Expected Interconnect Model not matching the Actual Interconnect Model.

You can create a LIG that models Flex-10 in Bays 1 and 2, and Flex-10/10D in Bays 3 and 4. But I don't think that is what you are asking for.
