Hello
I am trying to import the GEN10 2025.01 SPP into OneView, but I always get the following error.
Issue Unable to validate the signature for the following components contained with the firmware baseline bp-Convenience-download-2025_01-00_00-67925ecd41cf03bf2b1c8c14.iso. The component does not have a valid HPE signature.
Online ROM Flash Component for Linux - HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5
I have tried the SPP without Pensando and with Pensando and get the same error with both.
File name:
P81139_001_gen10spp-2025.01.00.00-SPP2025010000.2025_0119.14.iso
bp-Convenience-download-2025.01-00.00-67925ecd41cf03bf2b1c8c14.iso
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Re: GEN 10 2025.01 SPP import does not work.
Hi @Mr_S1
Please ensure that you have selected the latest version of the firmware/driver, click the Revision History tab to check if a new version of the firmware/driver is available. For more important information, review the Release Notes tab.
Try with this the latest version Online ROM Flash Component for Linux - HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5

Re: GEN 10 2025.01 SPP import does not work.
@Greeshma21 your comment is nonsens. OP wrote that he wants to import latest SPP and this fails.
@Mr_S1 I can confirm this, downloaded SPP ISO checksum matches SHA256 on webpage. Gen11 SPP could be imported, Gen10 import failes with:
Unable to validate the signature for the following components contained with the firmware baseline P81139_001_gen10spp-2025_01_00_00-SPP2025010000_2025_0119_14.iso. The component does not have a valid HPE signature.

Another untested release. I simply don't understand why there is 0 quality managemnt and basic checks.

SolutionHello @Mr_S1
Today I have import the two new SPP
P81139_001_gen10spp-2025.01.00.00-SPP2025010000.2025_0119.14.iso
and
P81140_001_gen11spp-2025.01.00.00-Gen11SPP2025010000.2025_0119.23.iso
into two HPE OneView appliances (version 9.30.00-0502470) without errors.
Which OneView version are you using?
Have you tried restarting the HPE OneView appliance and then trying the import again?
Do you have enough space on the repository?

Betreff: GEN 10 2025.01 SPP import does not work.
My understanding is the new (and later) SPPs require OV 9.3 and later. See this related advisory for details on how to workaround for older versions of OV: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-a00144567en_us. The advisory is for an SSP and should apply for SPPs too - have not tried workaround myself (advisory to be updated I believe).

Thanks for this info.
Updated OneView from 9.20 -> 9.30 (Took 25 min)
I also had to delete the 2025.01 SPP and upload it again for the warning to disappear.
After that everything worked fine.
I did not see any information about this either..

The CA will be updated to include both SPP and SSP.

Hello
Ok but for C7000, the last Oneview is 6.60.07
There's the same error as in 9.20. Is there a workaround?

Alternatively, if you have OneView prior to 9.30, you can update the HPE GPG public key in Oneview.
You can download it here:
https://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/hpePublicKey2048_key2.pub
You can install with GUI or curl.
