HE Oneview for Vmware vcenter 11.7 , can not import cluster

error message: Import Cluster is not supported on cluster if hosts management network is not defined.

Where should I define the host management network ?

in the vcenter configuration of the host, I have VMKernel adapter vmko with network label Management Network and enabled services Management.

In Oneview Server profile template, I have Connections with Name Management-A  and Management-B  to network ESX-MGmt Network Set

Re: HE Oneview for Vmware vcenter 11.7 , can not import cluster

Hello @Jo_455656,

Please check if all the host management network kernel ports are set to static IP settings.

Kindly follow the steps mentioned in the guide: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00006298en_us&page=importing_cluster.html

  • Verify VMkernel Adapter:

    • Go to each ESXi host in vCenter and check that vmk0 (or the designated management adapter) has:
      • A static IP
      • The correct network label
      • Enabled services: Management
  • Check OneView Network Configuration:

    • Confirm that the ESX-MGmt Network Set includes the correct VLAN/network.
    • Ensure the network’s purpose is set to Management.
  • Ensure Uniformity Across Hosts:

    • All hosts in the cluster must have identical management network configurations.

Hope this helps.
