HPE OneView for Microsoft System Center 10.1 - Nearly all rules are gone

Hi

We have updated to OneView for Microsoft System Center 10.1 from version 5.3.

In version 10.1 there are only 2 alert rules (in the Server Management Pack) compared to 69 in version 5.3. I cant find any new alert/monitors that has replaced the old alert rules. Neither does it state anything in the release notes.

The rules that are left
A proliant server is in warning state
A proliant server is in critical state.

Is this "by design" or is there something wrong with this version

This is by design.

The management packs were redesigned several years ago to align better with how they get their alert data from OneView.  It was basically becoming almost impossible to keep up with every new alert, and what it meant was that we were at risk of having OneView generate alerts that the management pack wouldn't pick up.

So there are now only 2 alerts that will appear in the NT Event Log of the SCOM management servers (for warning and critical). But the alert that is generated in SCOM itself will still have all of the required and pertinent information (alert name, description, resolution, etc.)

Ok, I believe 5.3 was released in November 2020. So the change is between 5.3 and 10.1, about a year ago?

Yeah, I think that sounds about right
