Import two 3par storeserv on OneView managed mode

Goodmorning everyone, i have two racks with tow c7000 (one per racks) and two 3par storserv system (one per racks). Among the 3par there is a remote copy configured. The c7000s are in Managed mode on oneview with advanced license. Do you think it is possible to import the 3par without outage? Will the LUNs only be manaed by oneview anymore? and what role will 3par ssmc play?

Between 3pars and c7000 there are two FC Fabric whit two redundant virtual connect.

Thanks!

Yes, you can freely import a supported StoreServ system to OneView without outage.  No, LUNs will not be strictly managed by OneView.  Yes, volume creation can be managed by OneView, but you can also create a volume using SSMC then you will need to import that volume into OneView.  If you then expect to manage the volume attachment with a server profile.

and what role will 3par ssmc play?

SSMC is still used for phone home, alerts, firmware updates, CPG and other policies that OneView does not (and has no intention of replacing) support.

Thanks also for this answer. I ask why when I tried to import the storserv I got stuck.
The wizard asked me whether to import CPGs, LUNs, etc.
I would love to be able to manage everything from the vcenter through the OV4VC but importing an existing environment is not easy.
Without giving a disservice, of course.
