Inconsistent Bios Setting in OneView Synergy but settings are ok
Actually we are using oneview 7.20 on synergy and oneview is showing tpm bios settings as inconsistent but the bios settings are ok. It seems that Oneview can't read these special bios settings. Additionally we can't set all tpm settings via oneview bios settings for synergy blades 480 gen plus.
The following bios settings are shown as inconsistent after setting via oneview and setting directly via bios
- TPM Mode Switch Operation - TPM 2.0 - No Action
- TPM 2.0 Software Interface Operation FIFO interface - No Action
The following TPM setting is not possible via OneView
- the TPM is set to use SHA-256 hashing
So is this problem already fixed in newer versions and what is going wrong here?

Re: Inconsistent Bios Setting in OneView Synergy but settings are ok
It looks like there may be a discrepancy between the BIOS settings as reported by OneView and the actual settings in the system. If you have verified that the BIOS settings are correctly configured, it's possible that OneView is not properly interpreting or retrieving the specific BIOS settings you mentioned.
In such cases, it's recommended to reach out to HPE support for assistance. They can provide you with the most up-to-date information on known issues, potential fixes, and any available workarounds for your particular version of OneView. They may also be able to guide you on how to troubleshoot the inconsistency between the reported and actual BIOS settings.
Hope this helps! Let me know the outcome.....
