Migrate Server Hardware - Unable to authenticate with the source appliance
I want to move a server from one OneView instance to another OneView instance with "Migrate Server Hardware".
Both OneView are on version 8.80.00-0487836. The user has the role "Infrastructure administrator". I get the following error:
Unable to connect to source appliance: <appliance name>
Issue Unable to authenticate with the source appliance. Invalid username or password.
Resolution Enter correct credentials and retry.
I have tried the appliance with IP address or hostname, always the same error.
I have tried a Local and AD user, always the same error.
Why can't I connect the appliance?

Re: Migrate Server Hardware - Unable to authenticate with the source appliance
Hello,
If this serves as a DL server, you can remove the hardware from the current OneView to add it in the other OneView. If migration is still desired, verify for any communication issues. Are both instances within the same subnet?
Cheers....

Re: Migrate Server Hardware - Unable to authenticate with the source appliance
Hello @MV3
Thanks for the information.
I know that I can delete the hardware from the OneView and insert it again on the other OneView. That's how I've always done it until now.
But if I have the option of doing this with the migration function, why shouldn't I do this? But it doesn't work.
Both OneView appliances are in the same subnet. I can also ping them to each other.
It seems that it can reach the other appliance, but it cannot log in. I have tried various accounts, local and AD user.
