OV 8.90, dl360 Gen11: Platform Configuration Register(PCR) has changed.

Hi, after installing two servers yesterday, I see this msg on both:

Platform Configuration Register(PCR) has changed. The firmware component type for the detected changed is BIOS at PCR index PCR1

I see that there are discussions, but dont 'really see the correct settings from HPE..

(We're running ESXi - VMware vSphere Client version 8.0.2.00300)

Is there a correct setting, or "just pick one"?

ie. "Best for performance", "Best for security", etc..

Hi TVVJ,

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just find a combination that clears the error - without really knowing what the impacts are

Thanks,
