Hi everyone,
I’m currently migrating our environment from HPE Amplifier to HPE OneView. During this process, I encountered an issue while adding multiple servers via the web interface.
Some servers were added successfully, while others failed with the error message:
Unable to save server information to the database
Resolution: Retry the operation
Retrying the operation does not resolve the issue. It is also not possible to re-add or remove the affected servers from OneView, and the related task cannot be stopped or deleted.
The suggested solutions I have found so far (rebooting or performing a factory reset) are not feasible in my environment due to geographically distributed servers and a running production infrastructure.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or is there another solution or workaround for this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Dave

"Unable to save server information to the database"
That would cause me great concern; if I were you, I'd create a support dump and open a case.
