Sensitivity for Alert: HPE OneView did not receive an expected REST event notification
Some of our ILOs are at remote locations where we sometimes have packet loss, is there any way to configure thresholds in OV for this? We currently receive alerts for ILOs that just have a little packet loss for 1-2 min (1 out of 5 ICMP packages lost in monitoring).
HPE OneView did not receive an expected REST event notification from the server’s iLO xxxxx. It is possible that event notifications from the server are not reaching OneView, resulting in impaired monitoring and management capabilities for that server. The following may be impacted:
• Firmware update using Smart Update Tools (SUT).
• Inventory updates (CPU, memory, disks, adapters, firmware/software and others).
• Local storage configuration.
• Detection of other changes such as UID light status and power state (which can affect profile apply performance).

Re: Sensitivity for Alert: HPE OneView did not receive an expected REST event notification
HPE OneView does not have a way to accomodate these types of network challenges and was not designed specifically for remote locations. It works fine if the latency is reasonable but there is nothing specifically designed to handle loss and recovery threshold/tolerance levels.
