On OneView 3.10.07-0310774 when trying to add the latest Gen8 SPP Bundle the following error occurs:
Unable to add firmware bundle P03093_001_spp-Gen8.1-SPPGen81.4.iso
The file you are attempting to upload is a duplicate of the firmware bundle {"name":"Service Pack for ProLiant", "uri":"/rest/firmware-drivers/882085_001_spp-Gen8_0-SPPGen80_15"} which is already present in the firmware bundles repository.
Update: Advisory a00038188en_us has been released about this issue: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00038188en_us
Anybody else also got this?
Thanks, Michael

Re: Unable to add firmware bundle P03093_001_spp-Gen8.1-SPPGen81.4.iso
Are you trying to add the full SPP or a custom SPP?

Re: Unable to add firmware bundle P03093_001_spp-Gen8.1-SPPGen81.4.iso
I am trying to add the full SPP downloaded from here: https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=spp-Gen8.1
The strange thing is that our currently installed full SPP for Gen8 (Gen8.0) is not available on the HPESC download page: https://www.hpe.com/global/swpublishing/MTX-ff582daf008c4f529c4d6c28f6

Solution1. If you need to use the newer Gen8 baseline, remove the older one before you upload the newer one.
2. If that's not an option, create a custom bootable baseline at https://spp.hpe.com/custom.

Re: Unable to add firmware bundle P03093_001_spp-Gen8.1-SPPGen81.4.iso
Thanks for the solutions.
I'm kinda disappointed in HPE's release process. Seems quite silly to release something, then pretend it never happend and then release something with another name but having the same identity...
