Re: Unable to validate image in vLCM,AMS obsoletes Fiber Channel and Storage Enablement bundle
Please note that current HPE Custom image ESXi 8.0U3 (VMware-ESXi-8.0.3-24674464-HPE-803.0.0.12.1.0.11-apr2025-depot.zip) includes the following VIB versions:
amsdComponent--701.11.10.0.4-1
amsdvComponent--701.11.6.0.3-1
fc-enablement-component--800.3.9.0.30-1
You need to remove the currently installed VIBs:
amsdComponent--802.11.11.0.4-1
amsdvComponent--802.12.1.0.25-1
fc-enablement-component--800.3.9.0.30-1
You can use the following commands to remove the existing VIBs:
esxcli software vib remove -n amsd
esxcli software vib remove -n amsdv
esxcli software vib remove -n fc-enablement
Note : Reboot may require post removal
Once this is done, you can proceed with Lifecycle Manager (LCM) for further updates or installations.
