Hi,
is it possible to set the RDA connection config (allow now root, allow including root after asking, no connection) with cli commands or api calls?
If set to ask first, is it possible to accept/deny a request with cli or api?
We're managing +25 arrays and try avoiding loggin in each of them. I'd like to use ansible or something similar for it ops to react to connection request, and for our team to set everything up correctly.

Re: CLI or API: Possible to open/allow rda connection?
Hello @apol,
You may find the below documents useful to check the possibility of those Telemetry settings via API calls:
4.2 CLI guide - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00088929en_us
API guide - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00088913en_us
Powershell toolkit - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00085686en_us&docLocale=en_US

Re: CLI or API: Possible to open/allow rda connection?
Hi,
I know these docus and could not find anything regarding remote access in them - that's why I asked.
I found out there's a "setremoteaccess"-command, but
clihelp setremoteaccess
tells me it's a hidden command and "***** Please use this command only if the UI is inaccessible and you need to access the system to troubleshoot. *****"
Long story short: GUI-only functionality is a pain...

SolutionHi Apol,
There are no user cli commands for these actions. UI is the primary interface for these actions.
These hidden commands are used for emergency/troubleshooting purpose if the UI becomes unavailable.
