Re: HPE Primera DNS and time Settings
Hi ledvan,
If you're unable to access the HPE Primera C670 Web UI and you've already verified network connectivity and made sure the DNS and NTP settings are correctly configured, there are a few steps to troubleshoot management access:
1. Ensure that the network cables are properly connected, and the network configuration (IP address, subnet mask, gateway) is correctly set on both the HPE Primera C670 and your client machine.
You can also try pinging the management IP address of the HPE Primera C670 from your client machine to see if there's a network connection.
2. Make sure that any firewalls or security settings on your client machine or network infrastructure are not blocking communication with the HPE Primera C670.
Ensure that the necessary ports for accessing the HPE Primera Web UI are open.
3. If you're unable to access the management port, you can try connecting to the service port on the HPE Primera C670.
The service port is typically used for support and troubleshooting purposes.
Connect your client machine to the service port using an Ethernet cable and configure your client machine's IP settings accordingly.
Then, attempt to access the management IP address or the service IP address of the HPE Primera C670 through a web browser.
4. If you're able to access the service port, check if the necessary services on the HPE Primera C670 are running properly.
You can check the status of the services through the command line interface (CLI).

Re: HPE Primera DNS and time Settings
Hi ledvan,
The service port on the HPE Primera array is designed for troubleshooting and remote access.
Connect to the service port using a console cable with SSH or Telnet client software, and then log in using the appropriate credentials.
From there, you can check the status of various services.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Re: HPE Primera DNS and time Settings
Hi ledvan,
If you don't have access to management or CLI, please check if you have an active support contract with HPE and Remote Support enabled on your HPE Primera, then the array sends diagnostic data to HPE automatically.
You can contact HPE support and provide them with the necessary information to initiate a remote support session.
HPE support personnel can remotely access your array and check the services on your behalf.
Regards.
