Migrating windows data from Xtremio storage array to hp Primera
I am trying to migrate data from xtremio storage to hp primera array. Could anyone suggest the options, both array side and host based migration tools. Is PPME an option ?

Re: Migrating windows data from Xtremio storage array to hp Primera
Hi AshJo,
The migration of data from one storage array to another, in your case from XtremIO to HPE Primera, is a critical operation that requires careful planning and execution.
I don't think PPME will be supporting HPE Primera Storage. So, Host-based migration is recommended to migrate data from XtremIO to HPE Primera.
Do get back to us, if you need further help.

Hello @Satish04 ,
Thank you for your response. Could you please help me with hostbased migration tools. PPME is hostbased as long as powerpath detects primera luns. Please help me which all hostbased migration tools i can use in this scenario. If you have any could you please share documents too

Re: Migrating windows data from Xtremio storage array to hp Primera
Hi AshJo,
There are many other ways to migrate data from XtremIO to HPE Primera, and the choice will depend on the customer's requirements.
Most of the operating systems have built-in tools or utilities for migrating data between storage devices.
For example, on Windows, you can use Robocopy or PowerShell scripts. On Linux, you can use rsync or dd.
Please contact HPE Tech support and discuss this with them so they can assist you.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Satish
