Hi guys.
As for the 3PAR EOS announcment I`m trying to evaluate this scenario as working solution :
Let`s say we have and outdated 1 Site On-Prem solution and we want to upgrade for more Disaster proof solution like f.e. VMware Streched HA Cluster
target goal :
Primary Site - Active
Synergy 12000 with 5 x Compute Slots 480 Gen10
PRIMERA 630c All Flash
Secondary Site - Active or Stand-By
Synergy 12000 with 5 x Compute Slots 480 Gen10
3PAR 8200 All Flash
Is this configuration can be working solution ?
Can i consider Active-Active mode to be also working solution for both Primera and 3PAR ?
Any sugestions are welcome !

SolutionHello Niksavoy,
I have a Customer doing this for 1/2 Year.
Meaning Sync Replication between Primera and 3PAR 8200.
Replication is done by FCIP because at first there was no support for RCFC.
If you Update 3PAR to 3.3.2 now RCFC should also work.
Both Sites have Volumes active and replication going in both ways, I think this is what you mean and not "Active Peer Persistence".

Re: Mixing NEW PRIMERA and Old 3PAR in Alway-On - Vmware Streched Cluster
"Active Peer Persistence" only for Primera with OS 4.3 and Alettra 9000.
For more information about requirements look here:

Re: Mixing NEW PRIMERA and Old 3PAR in Alway-On - Vmware Streched Cluster
Thanks for the link Cali.
I found the answer on page 9 - Peer Persistence and 3DC Peer Persistence table
Notes :
2. HPE 3PAR 8000/9000/20000 must be running 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU2 or higher. Automatic Transparent Failover in mixed setup requires Quorum Witness server 3.0.
7. No support for Active Peer Persistence between Primera and 3PAR
Thank You for the help !
