Replicating VVS on Alletra MP - Avoiding Deletion When Moving Volumes
Hi,
I need to replicate 4 Virtual Volume Sets (VVS), each containing 2 volumes of 10TB, between my Alletra MP arrays.
I’ve noticed that if I remove a volume from a Virtual Volume Set, it gets automatically deleted from the destination array.
In the future, I know that these volumes will be reorganized into new Virtual Volume Sets, and I would like to avoid having the destination volumes deleted — mainly to prevent restarting replication from scratch, as the data size is significant.
Is there a way to retain the replicated volume at the destination when moving it to a different VVS on the source?
Thanks in advance.
