Space Disparity on Primera c670
Hi Team,
We have a new primera initialised. Health wise all is green
We have two tier SSD and FC.
In SSD tier, we 24 disk in Raid 6+2 of size 7.68TB - hence the usabel space we get is 126TB
In FC tier we 144 disk in Raid 6+2 of size 2.4TB - hence the usable space we get is 243 TB
showspace -cpg *
----------------------(MiB)----------------------
CPG ---------EstFree---------- -----------Efficiency------------
Name RawFree LDFree OPFree Base Snp Free Total Compact Dedup Compress DataReduce Overprov
FC_r6 303030272 227272704 - 20480 2048 51200 73728 3.01 - - - 0.00
SSD_r6 106496000 79872000 - 0 0 0 0 - - - - 0.00
SSD_RAID6 106496000 79872000 - 0 0 0 0 - - - - 0.00
FC_RAID6 303030272 227272704 - 0 0 0 0 - - - - 0.00
In the SSD tier cpg from the above output we see only 73 TB instead of 126TB (as highlighted above in red.) - hence we need to know where the additional space is utilised.
we have not allocated any space form SSD-r6 cpg.
however when we run showsys -d commad we see allocated capacity as 34TB
% showsys -d

Re: Space Disparity on Primera c670
Hello @ILYPAT,
Please check if you are using flashcache. The command is 'showflashcache'.

Re: Space Disparity on Primera c670
Ok. Can you please share the complete command output for 'showpdch -c'?
(Please use the 'courier new' for the command output so that the logs alignment will be proper.)

Srinivas Bhat
