why there is gap between data in primera & Vmware

We have just implemented Primera storage, but why is there a discrepancy between the datastore storage in vCenter and Primera's virtual volume?

please see below :

Data Store  vMware

Free 3.65  , usage : 1.35TB

HPE Primera 

Total Used : 43.95

This might cause by the reserved storage from the VMware, correct me if i'm wrong.

If you create a 5TB datastore and provision 1.35TB for VMs or Hosts on VMware will show 1.35TB as used and 3.65TB as free because it calculates based on the total reserved size.
In contrast, HPE Primera might only shows the actual usage 43.95GiB in this case, because it uses thin provisioning and only allocates space for data that is actually written.
