12 or 14 disks?

I have a 4124r controller shelf with a single bus and an HSG60 controller with 8.5L firmware. The installation guide says that only 12 disks are supported, but if you add all 14 and RUN CONFIG, all 14 are added. These extra 2 can be assigned to storage sets etc.
Is this supported?

A new release of ACS will suport the 14 drives I think its Version 8.6.
Currently even if you RUN CONFIG it will configure the extra 2 drives
but it is not supported. I think the new release is due out the 23rd
of this month. This is all I can tell you at this time.....

The 4124R supports only 12 drives ......
