3161 storage enclosure manual

I have two 3161 disk array expansion units (the one with 7 x 9.1gb Wide-Ultra drives) and one free SCSI channel on the 5302 smart array (capable of running 14 devices).

Question is - can I piggyback the two drive enclosures so that all 14 disks are seen on the one channel. If so how to I set one of the enclosures to hi Id's?

Also does anyone have a manual for the 3161 enclosure? In particular referring to the duplex option.
