Cannot configure Hard disks on my internal compaq scsi controller
Hello all,
I've a compaq proliant 6500 server with an external storage system. In my server, I've the internal compaq 32 bits scsi ultra controller and a smart array 2hd controller. So half of my external storage system (6 disks) is connected to my smart array controller and the other 6 to my internal controller. With ACU I can manage the disks connected to the smart array controller but I've no tool to configure (creating raid) the disks connected to the internal contoller. Is there a way to solve that ?
Per advace, thanks a lot for your help

Re: Cannot configure Hard disks on my internal compaq scsi controller
Hi,
the internal SCSI controller cannot do RAID, and so cannot be configured with ACU.
I thought the 2/DH could have both internal and external disks. It has 2 channels, one internal and one external, which means you can attach disks to both.
Regards,
Stephen
