Error 1775 storageworks Enclosure

I receive an error message on at least one of my DL380 on boot up which says error 1775 storage enclosure not responding check internal storage and cables. I have 3 tape drives in a storageworks enclosure connected by external scsi cables to 3 dl380s i can only manage to get 2 tape drives working at any one time. All cables and tape drives are working fine as i've swapped cables and tape drives around on each server. The Scsi ports i connect to on my servers is port 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
