FCA2214 BIOS problem
Hi,
I have a FCA2214 card. I remember that I use this card in Itanium and update it's firmware as A6826A. Then after I re-plug this card into Proliant, I can't find Q-Utility anymore. IA32 Linux do recognize the storage on this card, but if I need boot from SAN, I can't config this card from Q-Utility from bootup.
I tried re-flash 1.45 or 1.34 firmware to it under win2003. But fcasutil.ext says 'QLogic QLAxxxx adapter not found.' I fact I installed qlogic windows driver with no problem, and can see card from device manager.
Any suggestions?
Thx.

Re: FCA2214 BIOS problem
There is a DOS-based 'FLASUTIL' that can be told to ignore certain adapter characteristics, but I have not idea if it will work in your case. I assume you didn't do a backup of the NVRAM or wrote down the old PCI IDs?

Note that /I (=Ignore) key must be used, not l
In my case flasutil without parameters didn't work - "qla23xx adapters not found"
