Hello to all,
is it possible to apply the current patches to a SimpliVity Cluster
CVE-2024-37079
CVE-2024-37080
CVE-2024-37081
or is this not supported until a new SimpliVity Pack is released?
Best regars,
Nick

SolutionYes, you can upgrade to VCSA 7.0 U3r. It is hard to find, but on the bottom of page #14 of the interop guide, it says you can upgrade:
A customer may upgrade vCenter to an unlisted patch version only when the vCenter major and minor versions are already listed in
this document. Unlisted major or minor version updates are not supported.
Since "r" is a minor version upgrade from U3p, you can upgrade.
Same applies to upgrading to VCSA 8.0 U2b
The current ESXi custom bundles for SimpliVity are ESXi 8.0 U2b and ESXi 7.0 U3p.
The plan is to release ESXi custom bundles ESXi 8.0 U2c and ESXi 7.0 U3q in late July.
