Hi Jpe_bastias

Thank you for coming to HPE Community Forums

To change the password for the Administrator:

1. Log into the vSphere Web Client with an SSO administrator user
2. Click Administration
3. Click Users and Groups under Single Sign-On and select the domain as "vsphere.local"
4. Click on the three dots on the left side of Administrator under the Users tab and select Edit
5. Under the Edit user window, you will be able to change the password for the Administrator

Please revert if you have any further queries on this.

Hope this helps!!

Regards,
Sanika.

Hi Sanika

Changing the VCSA password affects the login on OVCs. So after changing the password on Vcenter you have to let the OVCs know about the new password otherwise you can not logon to OVC with administrator password

Changing VCenter Server Password for Simplivity

1. Change Vcenter password via VCenter GUi
2. login to OVC as: svtcli
3. svtcli@omnicube-ip13-4:~$ sudo su
4. root@omnicub*:/home/svtcli# source /var/tmp/build/bin/appsetup
5. root@omnicub*:/home/svtcli# dsv-update-vcenter --server vCenter_Server_IP_address --username vCenter_user_name --password vCenter_password

Then follow the prompt instructions. (Move VMS off the host with OVC being changed. An OVC reboot occurs)
