Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
We have SimpliVity 3.7.7 (Gen10) nodes.
Double “All HPE SimpliVity Actions” are shown by a right click on VMs while using vSphere Web Client (HTML5).
This does not occur on flex.
I tried below but could not resolve this problem.
Rebooting vCSA
Reinstalling plug-in
Changing web browser
This problem occurred after upgrading vCSA 6.5u1c to 6.7u1.
(Related: Upgrading VCSA with SimpiVity plugins installed? )
Does anyone else have the same problem?
Is there any resolution?

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hi @Na-ka
Thanks for your query.
I would recommend taking a look at the following KB article which looks at some common issues, including similar to what you are currently seeing, and also steps to resolve.
I would recommend taking a look through this as a first step.
If the issue remains after following through this, I would probably advise that you open a support ticket.
Thanks,
DeclanOR

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Thank you for your answer.
I'm checking our vCSA along "Scenario 5” of KB according to your advice.
But '/storage/vsphere-client/SerenityDB/serenity/ALL/' is not found in our vCSA.
('/storage/vsphere-client/SerenityDB/serenity/’ exists.)
Does this path exist with SimpliVity 3.7.7(vSphere 6.7u1)?

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hello @Na-ka
I suggest checking this article as well:
Simplivity - Web Client - JDBC Connection error in REST
I recently ran into a similar issue than the one you are experiencing and could fix it restarting REST service on the OVC.
Thanks,

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Thank you for your reply.
JDBC connection errors did not occur in the REST log.
And I tried excuting “restart evt-rest” command on OVC, but svt-rest was not found on OmniStack 3.7.7 OVC.
I feel sorry that this KB might be not applicable to our environment.

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hi @Na-ka
The svt-rest service is present in 3.7.7 also.
Did you manage to get this resolved in the end?
Generally, this issue relates to passwords not matching, DNS issues, or other underlying firewall issues potentially.
Also worth noting is that there was a change in 3.7.7. If you're vCenter was also updated/changed completely, then you will need to have support carry out steps to allow them have the certificates on each OVC match those on your vCenter.
Let me know if you managed to resolve this since.
Thanks,

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hi @DeclanOR ,
Thank you for your reply.
This problem is not solved yet.
I'm planning to rebuild our SimpliVity environment from the ground up.

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
The HTML client hs always had two SimpliVity Action menus - one was "experimental options" or some such (the exact text escapes me). In the demo systems I have access to, I still see two SimpliVity action menus - one has options, one is empty.
I do not believe your system requires re-building. There might be some way to clean up the second menu, but it might well be there by design - there are just no "experimental" functions to be listed at this time.

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Thank you for your reply.
Our SimpliVity environment was rebuilt.
But this problem is not solved.
Therefore, upgrading vCSA and OmniStack could not occur this problem.
The fact that your environment has two SimpliVity action menus is valuable report for me.
It seems to be difficult to solve this problem by myself.

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hi @Na-ka
Rebuilding your environment is not a route I would have recommended to try and resolve a UI issue :)
At this stage, I would recommend you to please open a support ticket so that we can inverstigate correctly.
Thanks,
DeclanOR

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Thank you for your reply, @DeclanOR .
I opened a support ticket. They said
- A report of the same problem exists. But the reason why this occur is not known.
- We should use vSphere Web Client (Flex) not HTML5.
It's a shame that we cannot fix this.

Re: Display Is Storange on vSphere Web Client (HTML5)
Hi @Na-ka
Thanks for the update.
Good to hear that this issue is known, and doesn't actually affect functionality as such.
Thanks for the update/feedback.
Best regards,
DeclanOR
