ESX Drivers / compatability with Simplivity
Hi All,
I had a PSOD the other day, I opened a case with HPE and they recommended installing an updated FCoE Driver.
So I want to make sure its compatible, here is the link to the download:
On my host I currently have:
qcnic 1.0.27.0-1OEM.670.0.0.8169922 QLC VMwareCertified 2021-02-02
qfle3f 1.0.75.0-1OEM.670.0.0.8169922 QLC VMwareCertified 2021-02-02
qfle3 1.0.87.0-1OEM.670.0.0.8169922 QLC VMwareCertified 2021-02-02
qfle3i 1.0.25.0-1OEM.670.0.0.8169922 QLC VMwareCertified 2021-02-02
All the patches in that link are one minor level higher.
I don't see in the compatability guide where it lists individual driver compatability, so I wanted to double check with you guys that I can install these drivers without any issues...
fyi, the new driver version in this package are:
qcnic-1.0.53.0
qfle3f-1.1.9.0,
qfle3-1.1.9.0
qfle3i-1.1.5.0
Please let meknow if you see any issues with installing these drivers.

Re: ESX Drivers / compatability with Simplivity
Hi Brian,
Apart from driver update one more to be considered is the firmware version, please do check the latest SVTSP and proceed with driver update.
Check the latest HPE SimpliVity OmniStack Interoperability Guide for information on the SVTSP
Thanks
