Gen 9 Federated pair of Nodes. I need additional Storage My vender says....
No. They say even though I have open drive bays on both nodes that I need another third node to add storage drives. And also that I need to upgrade both my G9 nodes to g10 hardware and then purchase a third G10 node to add to the federation.
I need to get a second opinion. Can anyone recommend me a Simplivity Vender in the Minnesota area?

Hello @Peterjn,
The HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen9 servers are End-Of-Life, I wouldn't expect any more orders being taken on those.

Regarding the Gen10s, what do you need a second opinion on?

Re: Gen 9 Federated pair of Nodes. I need additional Storage My vender says....
They are refusing to support my two G9 nodes and or sell me a G10 node to expand. They are forcing me to buy three G10 nodes.
I need drive/storage space I would like to add it to the two nodes I have in service and run the wheels off of them. I have drive bays for 10 more SSD drives. I am told they can't be added unless I up the servers to G10s. I don't think that's right I only have 17 TB on each node.
In Short, I need a vendor willing to deal with a small business.. They honestly tried to get me to move to their cloud. That's just not right.
