HPE Simplivity esx upgrade to 7 and moving to a new vcenter
Hi,
we have vsphere 6.7 both vcenter and esx servers in simplivity.
Servers are HPE 380G10 (SVTSP_2019_1216.01), simplivity cluster version is 3.7.10.200
We want to install a new vcenter server 7 (old one is having some issues), upgrade esx and firmware - so the whole system.
Which is the best way to do all this?
I was thinking of starting with new vcenter, move all esx servers under that one by one like here https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-SimpliVity/Can-we-manually-add-the-host-into-the-new-vCenter-if-the/m-p/7024500#M161
And then upgrade esx servers to 7 and firmware.
Am I missing some important thing here?

Hi Japette,
The plan looks good, however, we would like to offer you our upgrade services as well ,so, you can log a support case with HPE SVT team, and request for upgrade service for being redirected to the special team or drop an email to gdc.hcs@hpe.com for engagement.

Re: HPE Simplivity esx upgrade to 7 and moving to a new vcenter
I have attached HPE OmniStack 4.1.0 for vSphere Upgrade Guide to this ticket. It's part number is P00126-405. Please use it for reference.
While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company

SVTSP | ARBITER | OVC | PLUGIN is the upgrade path. Please refer to the Interoperability guide for reference.
