New deployed simplviity node root and svtcli sudden change password
Hello,
Here's my situation, I've deploy an additional 1 node to my existing simplivity federation yesterday. Everything was working fine. All the login were tested.
Today when I tried to login to the ESXi thru putty, keep getting "Access denied". Then I tried login thru direct console and ESXi Shell. Both also display invalid username or password.
I tried to login the ovc svtcli with the password set and it shows access denied too.
I check the host event log thru vcenter, the OVC connect to the ESXi with root was okay up until 8:50am then it start display message "Cannot login root@ovc ip to the ESXi host".

Re: New deployed simplviity node root and svtcli sudden change password
Hi, did you try to login to the OVC with SSO account (basically administrator@vsphere.local) ?
Is the ESXi still attached to the vCenter ?
If you have access to the other OVC, does the svt-federation-show display the new server with all lights green ?
Maybe you have with the help of the HPE support team to upload credentials on OVC.
Regards,
Jean-Philippe

Re: New deployed simplviity node root and svtcli sudden change password
The OVC able to login with administrator@vsphere.local and the host is attached with vCenter.
The svt-federation-show that affect host is still in green.
I've logged case to hpe support.
