New Federation Deployment - ESXI Install?

Hi!

We are going to be setting up a new federation with 4 nodes in stretched cluster. Trying to determine: do I have to install the HPE custom ESXI on the 4 nodes prior to deployment? Or, is that a part of deployment and HPE does?

ESXi gets installed during the deployment process, please refer to the deployment guide for more details: 

HPE Simplivity Deployment Guide 4.1.3
