Re: Omnicube CN-3000 Setup Password
Hello @GhaithK11,
Omnicube CN-3000 appliances (formerly SimpliVity, before the HPE acquisition) were shipped with BIOS/Setup passwords locked, as they were designed to run only the Omnicube software stack. When this password is set, you cannot access the BIOS or change the boot order unless the vendor clears the password.
The important part, there is no universal or default BIOS password for Omnicube CN-3000 units. In almost all cases, the BIOS is vendor-locked, and you must either: Request the BIOS password reset file from HPE/SimpliVity Support.
You are being asked for the password because Omnicube systems are shipped locked. To install Proxmox or anything else, you usually must get a BIOS unlock from HPE.
