Re: Simplivity 380 gen10 G 32TB RAID levels
@sbhat09 , thank you
I need more information about raid sets and tiers.
for example: how many drivers are in tier1 (raid10) and in tier2 (raid5)
also, really wonder how is it going with 4 drives system?

Re: Simplivity 380 gen10 G 32TB RAID levels
Hello @gogalai
RAID sets are created during deployment of the nodes by the Deploment Manager and can't be modified without causing major issues. RAID configuration is based on the Simplivity model, for instance:
RAID type
• Extra Small, Small: RAID5
• Medium: RAID6
• Large: RAID6
• Extra Large: RAID6
• HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen10 G family utilizes tiered storage consisting of: RAID10 and RAID5
• HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen10 H family: ◦ LFF - 8 x 4 TB HDD and 4 x 1.92 TB SSDutilizes tiered storage consisting of: RAID10 (SSDs) and RAID6 (HDDs) ◦ SFF - 20 x 1.2 TB HDD and 4 x 1.92 TBSSD utilizes tiered storage consisting of: RAID10 storage (SSDs) and two 10-driveRAID6 volumes (HDDs).
Thanks.

Re: Simplivity 380 gen10 G 32TB RAID levels
Thanks @gustenar
My main question is about HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen10 G with 24 ssd. how many drives are in raid10 and in raid5?
For now, the second question is about HPE SimpliVity 325 Gen10. how is it realized here?
