Im trying to setup RBAC roles on my 4.2.0 federation but noe of the API commands work:
Set-HPESvtRbacRoleAssignment
Remove-HPESvtRbacRoleAssignment
Get-HPESvtRbacRoleAssignment
I just get the error that the command doesnt exist.
I have preformed all the setup requirements for the API and can interigate the federation using other powershell commands but not the ones I need to setup RBAC. Is there any other ways to do this please?

SolutionHi @kane13
Hoping you have already download required powershell cmdlets. If not, Please download HPESvtCmdlets from below link.
https://www.powershellgallery.com/packages/HPESvtCmdlets/
Once required commands are available. Please follow KB to configure RBAC using powershell.

Hope it helps

Re: SimpliVity 4.2.0 RBAC Function
Maybe off topic, but what about access to the SimpliVity plugin in vCenter. What are the minimum right in vCenter to make use of the SimpliVity plugin? We have some restricted accounts to only show the datacenter in the corresponding region. We notice here that the SimpliVity plugin is not fully functional. Any help would be appreciated

Re: SimpliVity 4.2.0 RBAC Function
Hi @Convergo
Currently Simplivity OmniStack support Administrator and BackupUser roles.
Administrator: This role has full administrative rights to HPE OmniStack objects
Backup user has below rights.
1. Create and restore crash-consistent backups.
2. Create and restore VSS backups.
3. Search for backups.
Note: This user does not have permissions to see backups that are in the deleted state. They are not included in a search for backups or in the backups report.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Jaipal
