Simplivity and HPE Smart Array SR Secure Encryption

Hello,

Just a quick question, is storage encryption enabled by default when deploying a Simplivity Solution or do you need to enable it after and with a separate licence ?

Thanks for your help !

Have a good  day

Regards,

DFi

@gustenar

Thanks.

From what i can read, it cannot be done while in production as it is a destructive process that should have been done at the original setup so there is no way to use this encryption without rebuilding the whole infrastructure.

Do you confirm ?

That's correct, it requires redeploying the nodes.
