Hello,
Just a quick question, is storage encryption enabled by default when deploying a Simplivity Solution or do you need to enable it after and with a separate licence ?

Yes, HPE SimpliVity Gen10 Data at Rest Encryption requires a valid HPE Smart Array SR Secure Encryption license. More details can be found here:

From what i can read, it cannot be done while in production as it is a destructive process that should have been done at the original setup so there is no way to use this encryption without rebuilding the whole infrastructure.
