Does Simplivity have the ability to send backups to cloud or cold storage in newer releases?
Hello CMatthews,
We believe that there was some talk about this for our 4.0 release but we are checking in the background for a full statement; we plan to update this topic in the next 8h's with an update on the request.
Best Regards, Jeroen Kleen
Hello,
As of 4.0.0 release we now support HPE StoreOnce backup solution which allows cloud based backups. This information is contained in the release notes under "HPE StoreOnce Integration".
Hope this helps.

I have checked in the document HPE OmniStack 4.0.0 for vSphere Administration Guide, and as I can se StoreOnce is supported, but only as local backup target. WAN links are not supported, and taking this in consideration, cloud based backup is not yet supported. Are my informations correct ?
You can take a look at the document on page 122 - HPE StoreOnce Guidelines
My mistake, this is correct. WAN links are not yet supported. The StoreOnce appliance must be co-located to the SimpliVity cluster for which it is registered.

Would it be possible to do it if I do Backup through the SoreOnce VSA? It would not be a direct option, but it is not needed extra componentes and make this possibiility available.
